There will be five voting blocks and the first one,
which will open on November 19, 2019 at 2:00 a.m. GMT+8, will let the community
vote for the theme and gameplay of the next stuff pack. The gurus presented
five themes to choose from:
- Arts & crafts
- Self-care routines
- Fun-tech
- Science & technology
- Happy Haunts

Here are my thoughts about the themes:
Arts & Crafts
I’m not exactly a fan of these activities but I do like
them for the elders. This pack is giving me TS2 Free Time vibes and that’s not
one of my favorite packs in the series.
Self-Care Routines
I kind of like the idea of a fitness watch and healthy
living aspiration. I’m tired of having to go to CAS just to see my sim’s level
of fitness. As for the vegan trait, didn’t we have a vegetarian trait already?
Are they completely different? We also have teas already and I believe smoothie
blenders will work similarly.
Fun-Tech
The only thing that interests me is the void critter
locator. With so many sims in the worlds, surely you wouldn’t need a portable
hologram best friend. Making friends isn’t that difficult anyway.
Science & Technology
Desktop microscope? Yes. Astronomy & Portable
telescope? Yes. All of the other things? YES! Astronomy could mean zodiac signs
might return. Zodiac signs were a neat thing in the previous installments. It
gave sims some personality. STEM kits would also add more means of leveling the
Thinking skill for kids aside from the experiment table. Experimenting with
food would also be fun. There’d be another use for those harvestables other
than cooking.
Happy Haunts
The freelancer careers are very interesting. This could
mean more interactions with ghosts. The séance tables and spirit boards would
be great tools for summoning ghosts if there are no urns or tombstones in the
lot, or maybe even in the daytime.
As for my vote, I think it would be going to the Science &
Technology. But if someone convinced me enough, it would probably go to Happy
Haunts.
